The Niger Delta Youth Democrats for Good Governance (NDYDGG) has said the reform of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration on the Niger Delta Amnesty programme is in the best interest of the region and should be supported by all.
The organisation in a communiqué at the end of its expanded Executive meeting in Abuja, said that all the effort by some illegal beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Program in the past who feel they can blackmail the reform would be resisted.
The communiqué jointly signed Comrade Thompson Fuoye and Comrade Ibani Preye, President and Secretary respectively said those opposing the reforms and trying to tarnish the image of the PAP Coordinator and SA to the President on Niger Delta Affairs. Prof Charles Dokubo, in a bid to bringing him to disrepute would be resistance henceforth.
“As we know from the legitimate benefactor of the program, it is clear that Professor Charles Dokubo, as the Coordinator PAP, needs to compliment the due process and corrupt free agenda of the Presidency. We urge President Muhammadu Buhari to disregard their on-informed, unwarranted lies that the PAP Coordinator is empowering some people against his ambition,” the communiqué said.
They urge Niger Delta youths to stand by the PAP Coordinator Professor Charles Dokubo and the Presidential reforms in the interest of the Niger Delta and the South-south region.
